Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
